The hours spent teaching during a normal week are:
Key Stage 1 – 22 hours
Key Stage 2 – 24 hours and 40 minutes
This excludes time spent on registration, breaks and the lunch period.
The school doors open at 08.35 for the children to enter. School starts at 08.45 and our school day ends at 15.15.
There is a morning playtime from 10.15 – 10.30 and an afternoon playtime between 14:00 and 14.15.
Assemblies are: Monday at 09:00 - 9:15; Tuesday (KS2) at 10:00 - 10:15; Wednesday 10:00 - 10:15 and Thursday (KS1) 10:00 - 10:15. On Friday afternoon we have a sharing assembly from 14:45 - 15:05.
The doors are opened to the children at 08:35, and the register is done at 08:45. Pick up at the end of the day is 15:15 for Years 1 - 6. Pick up for Reception is at 15:10..
Break times are 10:15 until 10:30 in the morning, and 14:00 until 14:15 in the afternoon.
