Wednesday, 22nd April, is Earth Day. It's also the date of the National Youth Climate Summit, which is being held online this year from 12 - 3pm. If you'd like to be involved, helping Mrs Ritchie with questions to ask and views to put forward, or just watching what goes on, please email her on firstname.lastname@example.org. More details are on this website:
At this important event for schools and colleges, young people from across the UK are invited to join schools in Cumbria (60 already signed-up) who will hear from an international, inter-generational panel of environmental activists.
Every single day we will be uploading new content to our YouTube channel to keep children active and healthy during the school closures.
✅Daily Sporting Challenges
✅Mindfulness and Wellbeing
✅Healthy Baking Recipes
Don't forget Joe Wicks is doing a daily home workout everyday at 9am too! You can watch on his YouTube Channel here
Southampton’s City Council’s Cultural Services have sent us links to a wide range of FREE ONLINE RESOURCES from across all of their venues to recreate our interactive session for you to enjoy in your own home.
They have created mini-tours of their venues, quizzes and resource packs. From the Tudors, Titanic and the history of Southampton through to art ideas, online exhibitions and of course their popular Greek myth series Perseus, there are loads of new ways to ensure you can still access their collections.
Resources are varied as they have tried to cater for the needs of all of their visitors: from Early Years, across all Key Stages and up to adults.
