School Clubs

As well as the school curriculum, we offer a number of school clubs for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 throughout the year. These take place either at lunch time or immediately after school.  Parents are encouraged to discuss the choice of clubs with their children before giving permission for them to stay.  We do ask children to attend regularly, and a letter from their parents is required if they wish to leave. Clubs are run by teachers and sports coaches. We do expect an excellent level of behaviour during the clubs.

The activities vary from term-to-term, but often include netball, football, cricket, choir, maths games and art and craft clubs. We also host a Dance club and Karate club which occur before school. A cost is incurred for attendance in these clubs.

Children participate in a variety of clubs.
On Tuesday 20th March 2018, our Board Game Club visited the Novium Museum to see a new exhibit about board games from the past. For more details, click on the link below:

One of our most popular clubs each year is the choir. This is open to everybody in Key Stage 2, and they meet each week to learn new songs and develop their singing technique.
Below is a recording of the choir, supported in part by the rest of Key Stage 2.
