Secondary School Applications
This information applies to parents and carers of children currently in Year 6 who will transfer to secondary school in September 2027.
As a maintained school, applications for secondary school places are administered by West Sussex County Council (WSCC). Full details about the application process, admissions criteria and key dates can be found on the WSCC Secondary School Places website:

Key Dates for September 2027 Entry
- Applications open: September 2026
- Application deadline: 31 October 2026 at 11:59pm
- National Offer Day: 1 March 2027 (or the next working day if 1 March falls on a weekend)
Parents and carers are strongly encouraged to submit their application before the deadline. Applications received after the closing date may be treated as late applications by West Sussex County Council.
Receiving Your Offer
Parents and carers who apply online will receive the outcome of their application by email from West Sussex County Council on National Offer Day.
Those who submit a paper application will be notified by letter.
West Sussex County Council will not provide allocation information by telephone.
